Day SIX - LADIES

Day SIX yo. DONE.

Tonight I had 3 of my 5 bridesmaids join me running! It was a night filled with address writing on wedding invites, snacks galore, reminiscing and planning for the events to come! Started the run around 8:30PM - it is starting to get dark WAYY earlier.

Part of me WANTS the summer to go - the crisp fall is WONDERFUL. However, I will miss that "no jacket" or "sandals it is" mentality.

Here are the girls below.
I had to slack a little in pace to get this pic.
Michelle (far right) is doing the challenge with me.
So far we are keeping pace with
each other - mile times and distance. SO GREAT.

And then we stopped for another selfie - because who runs nowadays without taking at least ONE seflie ;) BUT SERIOUSLY.
Sara being all "come at me BRO" to the cat-callers. OH KENT, WA, how classy you are.

This girl right here (below) has been the one to get me where I am today. It was a few months ago I came to her and said I needed to change. She stepped up, came to my house every night and pushed me to keep running and moving. She showed me to eat better, smile more, and move as much as possible. Picked me back up when I was down or fell out of step and praised me when I accomplished even the little things. I was almost able to keep up with her tonight - a HUGE accomplish for me!

And then we were DONE. 20 minutes. 1.65 miles. 12:14 average. Not bad after a stress filled day at work, wedding shenanigans and hanging with friends.

^^^ This is where we landed when we finished the run. BESTIES.

Since I accomplished 6 days without missing a single run, I thought the below was a good prize for all the hard work I put into finding time. Now if I can only find time to watch this like 92348923492 times!

Day SIX - DONE. OUTTA HERE. BRING IT ON SEVEN.
