Day 11 - Ninety degrees outside... in WA State. PLUS you have the smoke cover from the fires over the mountains = Super muggy evening. Michelle came over (she is doing this challenge too!) and we decided to take it easy with the running but keep a higher distance.
After the 5k yesterday I have been on a running kick - my mind has been going a million miles an hour, I have been CRAVING running. And tonight we tried to keep it simple.
3 miles we completed. Time was somewhere in the upper fourteens to fifteens. I tried hard to swallow that time knowing that it was super muggy, super hot and not a good night to push myself.
So here it is - 3 miles and I am proud of it. I was wanting to sit on the couch and eat but instead we got up and did it. Ending the day with over 8,000 steps. I am feeling good.
3 Good Things About Life Right Now:
1. Even though my life is super busy, I am still making time for my runs - time for me
2. Knowing that I have a HUGE group of supporters behind me
3. Happy for sunshine (even when it is hot) but excited for the crisp fall nights.
Day 11 - DONE. 20 more days to go!
