Day 5 - Late Night Run

Day 5 - LATE NIGHT

So this evening was packed with wedding planning and meetings. So when it came time to run finally, it was DARK. I thought I was going to have to skip but my fiancé said he would ride alongside as I completed my run! What a catch! Here he is:

The scooter has light up wheels and we put the head lamp to good use! Since the air was cooler in the late evening, I was able to keep a good pace with only a few walking breaks in-between.

Time for the night was GREAT! Not the best but pretty good for being distracted by a handsome fella following me on the path. 

Right on my last 0.25 part of the run, some kids drew this on the sidewalk. Another reminder to keep going and keep running because you will be done soon enough!

Also, I wore this shirt today because when we had finally finished our fun planning and meetings for the wedding, I was thinking, it is too late - lets just skip. Rick told me to "Just DO IT."

So here it is. Got to remember that once I run, it is done until tomorrow. I will never regret a run and once I am in the thick of it, I am so happy I started.
